By far one of the most popular hop processing systems we have designed. This system is for the farm doing around 25 acres or more. System can accept whole cone or bales by loading them on the bale breaker removable infeed hopper and conveyor. Whole cone passes through the beater bars freely. Bales are broken down by the beater bars in the bale breaker. The lose/broken up hops are then transferred by conveyor to the hammer mill. The air system will transfer the product from the hammer mill to the paddle mixing tank. Paddle mixing tank provides you with a homogeneous blend. After the hops have been blended it is then transferred by conveyor to the paddle mixing feed hopper. The hops are still blending together as it is fed into the pellet mill. System can produce 600 to 800lbs per hour of properly prepared hops. If you decide to go with the optional second mill the system can produce double as stated before. Pellets are transferred from the pellet mill into the pellet cooler by a transfer conveyor to be cooled down to packaging temperature. Once pellets are at desired temperature, they are discharged onto the screener under the pellet cooler. The screener ensures that the fines are removed from the pellets and the quality of pellets going into the bag will please the brewer every time. Lastly bagging systems, we have a close partner to us and can provide bagging options upon request.
